Have you ever tried a beauty brand with so many products that you are not sure where to start? That was how I felt looking through DIME Beauty. The brand has everything from cleansers and serums to moisturizers, SPF, and fragrance, so I wanted to narrow things down to two products I could actually see myself reaching for again.
For this test, I tried the tinted glow wonderscreen SPF 30 and DIME No. 1 Cologne. They are very different products, but both fit into the kind of routine I like: simple, useful, and easy to come back to. DIME currently describes its skincare range around concerns such as hydration, fine lines, discoloration, sensitive skin, and daily cleansing.
The sunscreen was the product that stood out to me most from a skincare point of view. It combines daily mineral sun protection with a sheer tint, while the cologne adds a completely different finishing touch. Here is what I thought after giving both a proper try.
1. DIME Tinted Glow Wonderscreen SPF 30
The first thing I noticed about this SPF was that it did not feel like a heavy sunscreen. DIME lists it as a mineral SPF 30 with 19% zinc oxide and broad-spectrum protection. It is also described as lightweight, non-greasy, non-drying, and non-comedogenic.
That combination makes sense for everyday skincare because sunscreen can be difficult to enjoy when it leaves the skin feeling thick or overly coated. This one has a smoother texture that spreads across the skin without making my routine feel much longer.
The Tint Makes a Difference
Shade 02 gives the product a light tint rather than looking like a traditional foundation. I like that approach because it keeps the finish natural. It helps even out the look of the complexion without trying to cover every mark or spot.
The formula also contains ingredients such as glycerin, squalane, jojoba esters, avocado oil, and apple fruit extract. DIME says its botanical ingredients and plant-derived smoothing agents are intended to help smooth, soothe, and calm the skin.
For me, that makes this more interesting than an SPF that only feels like a protective step. It leaves the skin looking fresh enough that I would be comfortable wearing it on its own.
Where I Would Use It
I would reach for this on days when I want my morning routine to stay simple. I can apply my regular skincare first and use the tinted SPF as the final step.
One thing I would keep in mind is that the tint is sheer, so I would not expect it to replace a fuller-coverage base. I also would not use the tint as a reason to apply less sunscreen. The goal is still to apply sunscreen generously enough for the labeled SPF protection.
Overall, this is the DIME product I can see myself using most consistently. It gives me sun protection and a little complexion help without making my skin feel like I have put on a full face of makeup.
2. DIME No. 1 Cologne
The second product took me in a completely different direction. DIME No. 1 is a fragrance rather than a skincare treatment, but I liked the idea of testing something that could finish the routine rather than adding another serum or cream.
DIME describes the scent around sandalwood, zesty bergamot, and amber musk. The formula also includes fragrance ingredients and notes such as lemon, bergamot, lavender, vetiver, cardamom, patchouli, and ginger.
A Scent That Feels Easy to Wear
What I like about No. 1 is that it does not feel like the kind of fragrance I would save for a special occasion. The citrus notes give it a fresh opening, while sandalwood, amber, musk, and woody notes make the scent feel warmer as it settles.
That makes it easier to imagine wearing with a simple daytime skincare routine. You get the clean, fresh feeling from your skincare, then a warmer scent that stays in the background rather than making the whole routine feel too complicated.
DIME recommends applying it to pulse points such as the wrists, neck, and below the ears.
How It Wears Throughout the Day
As the fragrance settles, the sharper citrus notes become softer and the warmer notes become easier to notice. I like that change because the scent does not feel exactly the same from the first spray to the later stages of wear.
It works well when I want a fragrance that feels polished without being too much. I would wear it during the day, for casual plans, or when I want a little extra something before heading out.
My Take on These Two DIME Picks
Both products have found their place in my routine for different reasons. The Tinted Glow Wonderscreen keeps my skincare simple while adding a little tint and glow, while No. 1 brings a warm, clean scent that makes the routine feel more finished.
What I like most is that neither feels difficult to work into my day. One fits easily into my skincare routine, and the other adds a simple fragrance step when I want it. They are different products, but both are easy to reach for without making my routine feel complicated.
