Summer nails are like a little accessory themselves. You can wear the simplest outfit and add a glossy bright manicure and suddenly the whole look feels more fun. I always end up saving nail ideas around this time of year because the colors get better, the designs get less serious, and every vacation photo somehow looks cuter when the nails are doing something.

Skin tone matters too. Bright pinks, lime green, and citrus shades pop beautifully on deeper skin tones. Soft jelly pinks, pastels, and sheer florals look delicate on lighter skin tones.
