As an editor who’s watched nail trends cycle in and out faster than you can say “gel mani,” I can tell you this much that, Fall 2025 isn’t just about moody colors. It’s about playful designs, subtle textures, and a little touch of unexpected shine.
From the return of soft, milky pink nails (yes, they’re still not going anywhere) to the rise of geode-inspired crystals and colorful aura nails, the vibe this season is a mix of calm energy and bold experimentation. You’ll also spot animal prints making their way back onto tips, chrome finishes catching the light in all the right ways, and even polka dots sneaking in as the fun, retro detail no one saw coming.

1. Milky Pink Nails
For all the minimalists out there, milky white nails are probably the all-time choice for a manicure to skip the extra hurdle and time-consuming nail art. This one is the same as that, but with a sheer pink color. Perfect for when you need a clean girl aesthetic on your cuticles. Two bold colors together and the hottest trend of fall, such a fiery and attractive nail art I would say. The color combo is also a great choice because from afar it looks red, but when you really look at it closely, it's a milky chocolate brown shade, while on the other hand we have a butter yellow touch with a popocorny tone, making the colors look even more deeper. The polka dots on top make it even more beautiful and a bold choice to flaunt this fall season.
5. Colorful Aura Nails
From the start of this year, it was obvious that this would be the year of aura nails, and the amount of aura nail designs I have come across is proof of that. While, I saw more of solid aura nails featuring one color and the aura accent in the middle, now, it’s getting more creative with different color combos, accents, and bold nail art. I came across this and instantly got those cotton candy vibes, which look delicious and perfect for when you are heading to have a hot chocolate date.
6. Chrome Nails
Any shade and a chrome at the top is a perfect manicure for when you need something low-effort but big outcome. Solid chrome nails are in trend, but you don’t have to just copy it as it is, if you want to add your own touch to it, you can add by going for ombre chrome nails, chrome french tips, aura chrome nails, or even 3D art chrome if you want to go all out.
